Peer review policy
Every research article is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. Each journal operates either single-anonymized review, in which reviewers know the identity of the authors, or double-anonymized review, in which the identities of the authors and the reviewers are hidden from each other. The review model of each journal is stated on its page.
Decisions
The academic editor assigned to a manuscript makes a recommendation based on the reviewers’ reports. The editorial office verifies the recommendation, may ask the academic editor to reconsider it, and communicates the final decision to the authors. Editors do not handle manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest.
