Information for reviewers

Reviewers volunteer their time and expertise, and the quality of the journals depends on them. We ask reviewers to keep manuscripts confidential, to declare any competing interests when they accept an invitation, and to deliver a constructive and well-argued report by the date given in the invitation.

The review form

Score originality, methodology, clarity and significance on a scale of 1 to 5.
Write comments to the authors. These are shared with the authors.
Use the confidential comments field for remarks that only the editors should see.
Choose a recommendation: accept, minor revision, major revision or reject.
