Submission guidelines
Before you submit, please read the guidelines of the journal you have chosen; they are shown on the journal’s page and in the first step of the submission form. The points below apply to all journals on this site.
Preparing the manuscript
- Submit the manuscript as a single PDF or DOCX file. Journals with double-anonymized review also require an anonymized version without author names and affiliations.
- Give the full list of authors with their affiliations and email addresses. Each author may add an ORCID iD and a contribution statement based on the CRediT taxonomy.
- State the sources of funding, any competing interests, and where the data can be found.
- Disclose any use of generative AI tools in the preparation of the manuscript.
After submission
The editorial office checks each submission and assigns an academic editor, who invites reviewers. Co-authors receive an email asking them to confirm their authorship. You can follow the progress of your manuscript on the My Submissions page.
